Legal Aid
Depending on the type of family case you need help with we may be able to apply for your case to be covered by public funds. Certain areas simply require you to be the carer of a child with parental responsibility to be eligible, such as when social services are involved with your family and have contacted you about intended Public Law Outline (PLO) processes or Care proceedings commencing. Early involvement of your legal team is important so if you are unsure please contact us so we can guide you through your options.
Private
Depending on the nature of your legal matter we may be able to offer you legal advice on a fixed-fee basis. This includes a clear agreement on the legal tasks we will complete with you and how much it will cost. If the matter is complex, or fixed-fee is not suitable, we can discuss hourly rates and provide monthly estimates of anticipated work.
Pro Bono
We are committed to access to justice and access to expert legal advice. If neither legal aid or private paying is an option then we may be able to offer pro bono legal assistance subject to capacity and eligibility considerations. We can also coordinate with community outreach organisations and other advice clinics to get you the guidance you need.

We are experienced in conducting high-profile cases and guiding celebrity clients as well as complex situations with potential media-sensitive concerns. We know well the complications that can arise and can guide you to the best approach in consultation with you and your management team.
Training & Consultancy
Kirsty and Jestina have over 30 years combined experience in family law matters. We offer training workshops tailored for all legal professionals covering a range of legal matters including trauma-informed approach, domestic abuse (including DAPOs) and children law (public and private). We have delivered training to law firms, universities and prisons as well as collaborating with expert agencies and regional law societies to deliver hybrid, online and in-person events.
